Mindroling kennel

In 1990 I wanted to get a kennel name from the Finnish Kennel Club that had to do with Tibet since I had a Tibetan Terrier. I found "Mindroling" in a book about Tibet and liked the sound of it. The Mindroling-monastery still exists in Tibet. Mindroling means "the place of perfect emancipation" in a spiritual way.

I have bred two Mindroling Tibetan Terrier litters, which were born in 1990 and 1993. The dam was my first dog FIN CH Karamain Marguerite called Manta.

More information about Manta and her late offspring can be found in Koiranet: http://jalostus.kennelliitto.fi/frmKoira.aspx?RekNo=SF02700/89

Tibetan Terrier pictures can be viewed in the photo album.

In memoriam Manta 1988-2004

Manta was a funny, intelligent and beautiful Tibetan Terrier and we still miss her very much. She took me to the dogworld.

In memoriam Ali 1990-2004

Mantas son FIN CH Mindroling Albert called Ali spent his late retired years with us when his owner no longer could keep him. Ali was a mischevious old guy, who even managed to steal the ham from our Christmas dinner table when I did not keep my eyes on him for a second...

We got a new Tibetan Terrier puppy home on 31 November 2007. She is Lövskärs Khu-Khu-Nor. Pictures of here can be found in her breeder Paula Forsbacka's photoblog: http://kuvablogi.com/blog/1751/21/
